“ LOST LOVES ”
Words and Music by Keith McGavern

Lost loves are a part of my life
And it doesn’t bother me to let you know
‘Cause in all the ways and walks of life
Even the very youngest ones, they really know.

That lost loves are a thing of the past
They hang around and plague your mind
And it never seems they were meant to last
As you look back through the years of time.

So if you find that you’re uncomfortable
With the things that once have been.
Just remember that you and you alone,
Were the one that asked it to end.

Now lost loves, they are calling me
Suggesting that there might be a way
To erase all the trials and the tears
That came from living those days.

Now lost loves, I can hear your pleas
To renew what didn’t last
Lost loves, why did you bother me
I thought you were supposed to stay in the past.

So if you find that you’re uncomfortable
With the things that once have been.
Just remember that you and you alone,
Were the one that asked it to end.
